I decided to run for office because you can only complain about things for so long before you feel the need to act. Crime is out of control across the state and our neighborhood has been affected the worst. Alaska’s politicians decided they know how to spend YOUR dividend better than YOU do and have been pushing for a state income tax.
Enough is enough.
I’m an ordinary person who cares about her family, friends and neighbors. Most importantly, I have an unwavering belief that, We the People, deserve to be heard.
I have called Alaska home since 1969. My brother and I were raised by a single mother who worked three jobs at times to support us. She taught us both that we could be anything we wanted as long as we worked hard enough. After graduating from Wasilla High School I moved back to Anchorage and started two small businesses in 2000. I currently live in Mountain View with my husband Randy, our two mini-dachshunds (Toochie & Poppy), a pug (Soloman) and a gaggle of chickens.
I’ve worked hard my whole life and will work just as hard to make sure the needs of our diverse community are not forgotten.
I would be honored to receive your vote and be the voice for the people in my district.
